The regional scientific-practical conference “Actual questions of pediatrics” was held on December 12, 2018. It was organized by the Department of Pediatrics and was held in the congress center of Sumy State University. The conference was held with the support of the Health Department of Sumy Regional State Administration, Sumy State University and the Association of Pediatricians of Sumy Region.
The doctor of higher education, the doctor of medical sciences, professor of pediatric otolaryngology, audiology, and phoniatrics of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after PL, spoke with an important report “Selected Aspects of the Application of Homeopathic Medicinal Products in Pediatrics – International Experience in Evidence-Based Medicine”. Shupika, expert of the State Expert (Pharmacological) Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Commission on Phytotherapeutic and Homeopathic Medicines), member of the International Vienna Academy of General Medicine (Austria), New York Academy of Sciences (USA), member of the European Society of Hepatologists (France), member of the European Commission on Homeopathy, member of the All-Ukrainian Medical Society (VULT), member of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine, Vice-President of the AG of Ukraine Oleksandr Moschych.
Also, doctors pediatricians, doctors of pediatric specialties and doctors of general practice of family medicine received reports on current issues in pediatrics, which were made by the director of the SSU Medical Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, docent Loboda A.M.; the chief pediatrician of Health Department of the Sumy Regional State Administration Stashko O.V.; Head of the Sumy regional branch of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Pediatrics of the SSU, doctor of medical sciences, professor Smiyan O.I.; Doctor of Medicine, Professor Popov S.V.; Ph.D., Associate Professor Binda T.P.; Ph.D., associate professor Sichnenko P.I. and the regional infectious disease officer Trotska I.O.
